Not certain how much traffic this gets but i figured i would post this anyways. For starters my name isnt changing to silan lol. Second i am still working on The cd Mind boggling but am in a writing funk for some time now but will hopefully get back on track soon. So foe whomever actually reads this, i will be back.

Well it has been 4 months to the day since i released Tears of Misfortune and now i find out i cannot copyright my artist name, im pretty upset about this considering i have been using Envision for a long time.

With nothing but time i have come up with a new name, not sure it has the same roll-off-the-tongue-ability as envision considering i have a freaking eye tattoo LOL, with my love for foreign languages especially latin i decided to brain storm and come up with a fitting name that still has the spiritual feel and can embody me as an artist (i know i know, blah blah blah) So here it is he he.

Silan

It is derived from the latin term Silens Animus which means silent soul, and now im goign to make all my songs have latin names hahah, ok maybe not I will note the bottom of my Blogs with my favorite saying but i will do that in latin *snicker* so heres the end.

Whats up everyone, i'm hoping someone actually gets to read this one day hehe.
I do have some people that like my music etc so i figured i would give them an update on the current happenings in the life of me (hears someone say BORING in the distance)

Well first off i would like to thank anyone who is enjoying my music, i hope it brings joy to those who appreciate it.
I'm grateful to have the ability to put my feelings into song albeit a somewhat distinct style i do pour my soul into it and for others to comment in the manners they have on here and my you tube site really makes me very happy thank you all very very much some of your words are very touching and have brought a smile to my face.

Now onto the happenins!!!!!

Well in march the unofficial release of Tears of Misfortune took place. The album embodies my soul, spirit, and emotion and was a very painful yet fulfilling set of compositions. As soon as that was finished i delved into another set of writings, The more rock oriented "Passion" and the epic story "Shadows of a Dragon" a 6 part song encompassing more then 30 minutes. There is no release date on these 2 releases but im sure Passion will be completed first since Shadows is a monster and make wanna rip my hair out hehe.

I will get some teasers up for Passion as soon as i have a resepctable copy of some of the tunes done, i hope you like the new stuff im writing and i do not want to dissapoint.

Well i think i have rambled off at the mouth long enough im going to sign out.
